HULUCARTS VENDOR TERMS AND CONDITIONS

These Terms and Conditions (“Agreement”) govern your access to and use of the HuluCarts platform as a vendor. By registering as a vendor and listing equipment for sale or rent on HuluCarts, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms:

1. Definitions

  • Platform refers to HuluCarts.com and its subdomains.

  • Vendor means any individual or business entity registering to sell or rent equipment on the HuluCarts platform.

  • User or Customer means anyone who visits or transacts on HuluCarts.

  • Equipment refers to any tools, machines, vehicles, or related items listed by vendors.

  • Rental means temporary leasing of equipment to users.

  • Sales means the permanent transfer of equipment ownership.

2. Vendor Eligibility

To register as a vendor, you must:

  • Be at least 18 years old.

  • Own or have legal rights to list the equipment.

  • Provide accurate business and identification information.

  • Comply with all applicable local and national laws.

3. Vendor Responsibilities

By listing on HuluCarts, vendors agree to:

  • Ensure all listings are accurate, with clear descriptions, prices, and photos.

  • Disclose whether items are available for sale, rental, or both.

  • Fulfill confirmed orders and rental bookings in a timely and professional manner.

  • Maintain the equipment in a safe, operational condition for rentals.

  • Handle pick-up/drop-off logistics if applicable or communicate clearly about availability.

  • Accept responsibility for equipment delivery, warranties, and after-sales support where required.

4. Rental-Specific Conditions

For vendors listing equipment for rental, the following apply:

  • Clearly state the rental price, security deposit (if any), usage limits, and conditions.

  • Specify minimum and maximum rental periods.

  • Provide accurate availability calendars.

  • Report damages or misuse immediately via the platform.

  • Maintain insurance or require users to provide insurance if necessary (subject to local law).

5. Sales-Specific Conditions

For vendors listing equipment for sale, the following apply:

  • Confirm that the equipment is free from liens or ownership disputes.

  • Ensure timely delivery upon order confirmation.

  • Disclose any defects or usage history honestly.

  • Comply with consumer protection standards and allow for return policies as legally required.

6. Commission and Fees

  • HuluCarts charges a commission or listing fee, which may vary depending on category, item, and promotion.

  • Detailed pricing is outlined in your vendor dashboard or agreement and is subject to change with prior notice.

  • Vendors must not bypass the platform to avoid commission (i.e., off-platform transactions).

7. Payments and Payouts

  • HuluCarts will process payments on behalf of vendors.

  • Payouts will be made to vendors after deducting applicable fees, within [7–14] business days of transaction completion, subject to verification.

  • Vendors are responsible for paying any taxes related to their earnings.

8. Dispute Resolution

  • Vendors must cooperate in resolving customer disputes related to sales or rentals.

  • HuluCarts reserves the right to mediate and make binding decisions on refund or compensation claims if necessary.

  • In case of repeat complaints or poor performance, the vendor’s account may be suspended or terminated.

9. Prohibited Conduct

Vendors are strictly prohibited from:

  • Listing counterfeit, stolen, or prohibited equipment.

  • Providing misleading or false information.

  • Engaging in fraudulent or abusive activity.

  • Communicating or transacting outside the platform to avoid fees.

10. Intellectual Property

All content uploaded by the vendor (photos, descriptions, logos) remains their property. By submitting, the vendor grants HuluCarts a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use such content for marketing and promotional purposes.

11. Platform Rights and Modifications

  • HuluCarts may update these Terms & Conditions at any time. Continued use constitutes acceptance of any changes.

  • HuluCarts reserves the right to suspend or remove vendor accounts for breach of terms or poor performance.

12. Termination

Vendors may terminate their account at any time upon written notice. HuluCarts also reserves the right to terminate accounts with or without notice for violations of these terms.

13. Governing Law

These terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia.
